While Georgia schools were dealing with the Delta variant, Alisha Searcy was bragging about becoming Delta Platinum.
On the campaign trail, Alisha Thomas Searcy has continued to be critical of the efforts of schools and educators during the pandemic.
She's continued to complain about a "lack of leadership" but while schools were reeling with the Delta variant last year, Searcy was bragging on social media about becoming a Delta Platinum member. Throughout the pandemic, Searcy jet-setted across the country and the world, travelling to places like Cabo, Greece, Belize, Cancun, and the Bahamas while bragging about "[not] being to her hometown since before Covid."
Only once the pandemic concluded and Covid counts dropped did Searcy decide to drop her travelling to come back and announce a run for State School Superintendent.
While school leaders and educators were tasked with showing up to keep learning going, Searcy sat on international beaches. |
